Paper is a medium I'm particularly fond of, whether for watercolor, ink or acrylic paint, because it absorbs the paint, unlike primed canvas on which it slides. I've always been attracted to watercolor, probably more by the boxes, colors and cups than by its "traditional" use, of which I've never respected the rules !
